OUR WHOLE LIVES: LIFESPAN SEXUALITY EDUCATION

Our Whole Lives (OWL) is a positive, comprehensive, and age-appropriate educational program that promotes sexual health and is informed by the guidelines of the Sexuality Information and Education Council of the United States. Our Whole Lives helps participants make informed and responsible decisions about their sexual health and behavior. Our Whole Lives provides accurate, developmentally appropriate information about a range of topics, including relationships, gender identity, sexual orientation, sexual health, and cultural influences on sexuality.

Developed by the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) and the United Church of Christ (UCC), the OWL curriculum is a secular program with UUA (or UCC) specific supplements. At MVUUC, we are able to offer OWL courses for the following age-groups:

• Kindergarten through 1st grade

• 4th through 6th grade

• 7th through 9th grade

• 10th through 12th grade
